That not one single Nazi judge was ever brought to justice through a German court and that billions of Marks from German taxpayers continue to be paid to Nazi war criminals and are called "victim" pensions speaks for itself.
Yet, to prosecute and discriminate against former GDR citizens no stone is left unturned. Retroactive law is applied, the statute of limitations is ignored and the principles of the Unification Treaty between East and West Germany are thoroughly disregarded. All of it illegal and unconstitutional, but simply sanctioned after the fact as proper by Germany's highest court!
In view of the fact that the Nazis under Hitler justified the war on the grounds of fighting "Jewish Bolshevism" it cannot be expected that German anti-communists today will anymore than in the past be able to fairly judge their communist enemies of the former communist GDR, that they further accuse of having been responsible for dividing the 'Fatherland' in two for 40 years and as being as inhuman as the lawless Nazis themselves. The introduction of a separate currency by the western powers in the western zones was, of course, the primary event that resulted in the division of Germany. But the polemics of cold war anti-communism continue to form the primary rationale in dealing with former East German citizens.
I have sent the following letter all over the world (and intend to continue to do so) to protest these circumstances, and because I am going to be prosecuted in court for using the domain name http://Gauck.de to argue the fact that the Gauck-Officials (the federally commissioned agency in charge of researching the files of the state security apparatus of the former GDR) are on balance non-objective and are part of an overall process of exerting Victors' Justice (Siegerjustiz in German). I have also acquired the domain name http://Siegerjustiz.de to help bring about awareness of this arrogant form of German "justice".

G e r m a n y ! Throw the killers of Vietnam behind bars before you throw DDR people behind bars! Or do you think it's OK to kill millions in the name of anti-communism? If trials are necessary they should be held in an impartial international court of law, but not by these so-called "good innocent Germans simply thirsting for justice". In an international court of law both sides, including the two superpowers would be held responsible for the crimes - massive crimes - committed in the name of their respective ideologies. Millions more than the dead along the Berlin Wall would thus have to be atoned for! Countless crimes were committed by the western side in the name of the West's ideology -- the supposedly innocent not guilty side. Particularly in the third world the West has been the dirtier partner. See for example, the Death squads and German
Nazi criminals associated with the (WACL) The World Anti-Communist League. The Vietnam war which West Germany heavily supported and profited from, being for the West Germans, the most notorious example. Even West Germany's former president Richard von Weizsäcker while at a chemical consortium profited from supplying the U.S.A. the chemicals needed for America's chemical warfare against Vietnam. Think about that West German judges before you illegally apply retroactive law on former citizens of a country you absolutely never had any jurisdiction over! Crack down instead on the firms that profited from forced slave labor during the Nazi's reign of terror. Here a list of the firms that used slave labor:German

Interview: Harald Neuber
Justizopfer kamen zu Wort Dr. Heinrich Hannover und Dr. Rolf Gössner zum Thema "Rehabilitierung von Justizopfern des Kalten Krieges".
Yes, I'm sending this all over the world. To heads of state, to newspapers, to intellectuals at Universities and even to captains of industry. I want them to know that most Germans are trying to "relativize" their historic guilt by trying to make the GDR look as bad as the Third Reich. That there reigns "Siegerjustiz" Victors Justice in Germany today.
And, I want you to know that I'm going to spend the rest of my life informing people (particularly the American people) about how you arrogant Germans really are. On the one hand you put down the Americans because of their "übertriebenen Antikommunismus", on the other hand you railroad former East German functionaries by playing the role of the good innocent Germans simply thirsting for justice. In essence you're trying to wipe the blood of Auschwitz off on the East German flag.

It should be noted that more people have committed suicide after being humiliated, disgraced and denied job opportunities, due to the defaming tactics (often with little or no concrete incriminating evidence) from the "Guack Officials" then were ever killed trying to leave East Germany along the Berlin Wall. The mere insinuation of ever having had anything to do, whatsoever, with the former secret services of East Germany is enough to ruin a person's personal and professional life - all transgressions done by the secret services from the western side are of course kept under lock and key.
Absolution
The Concise Oxford Dictionary defines the word absolution the following way:
Absolution 1 a formal release from guilt, obligation, or punishment. 2 an ecclesiastical declaration of forgiveness of sins. 3 a remission of penance. 4 forgiveness [ME f. OF f. L absolutio -onis (as ABSOLVE)]
Absolution is spelled in German the same way although always
capitalized and means of course the same thing. It is this that
most Germans crave most of all when thinking
about their roll in today's world and about what their parents
did in the name of their country to the Jewish people, and to all others
who didn't fit into their specific concept of the destiny of the German
people.
It is conceivable that a man like Egon Krenz may have thought that defending the border between West Berlin and East Berlin or along the rest of the border between the GDR and the FRG, even with the mining of certain parts of the border as military necessary. Even if this meant having to shoot at some of their own people. Perhaps to prevent a more bloody invasion by Soviet forces should the military or economic integrity of the East German state break down, or even to prevent the beginnings of a process that could have easily led to WWIII. The incidences that did almost spiral out of control into a major confrontation between the West under NATO Forces and the East under the Warsaw Pact were numerous enough. I don't need to list them all here, anyone with a basic knowledge of the events of the Cold War along the border between East and West Germany cannot escape this reality.
I am not justifying anything that took place alone the border between East and West Germany. All I am saying is that it is conceivable that a person from the East could have in all clear conscience have thought it necessary to defend the border regime and to uphold the rest of the laws designed to secure the integrity of the East German state. It is, however, inconceivable that a justification for the invasion of Poland and the implementation of the "final solution" - the decision to eliminate the Jewish people from the face of the earth reached at the Wannsee Conference in Berlin - can be found. None of this which caused the death of more than 55,000,000 people (That's 55 million people, think about it!) can in the slightest way be justified.
Yet: " ...Billions of Marks from German taxpayers are being paid to Nazi war criminals and are called "victim" pensions. A spokesman for the German Ministry of Labor confirmed that additional assistance money is being spent on war criminals but claimed that nothing could be changed because of constitutional reasons. The chairman of Germanys Jewish Community, Ignaz Bubis, was shocked. He had never thought that "such people" were getting additional financial payments from the German government..."( PANORAMA: Germany Pays Billions to Nazi War Criminals ), while for example, people like former East Germany's United Nations representative Peter Florin have had their pensions illegally eliminated or shortened.
Thus, when the issue is paying former SS Nazi war-criminals generous benefits Germany hides behind its constitution, and in addition when the issue is considering compensation for the victims of forced labor under Hitler's terror state, by concerns such as Degussa AG, Allianz AG and Deutsche Bank AG, these corporations are afforded legal backing by the German Government against the claims of the victims, many of which are filed in American courts. Most recently, in the District court of New Jersey on behalf of Degussa AG, Germany's "Green" Foreign Minister Joseph Fischer, filed a "Brief of Amicus Curiae" arguing among other things: "Industry was forced to meet goals established for the production of material for the war economy and all other goals set by the Nazi regime. The more important economic activity became to the conduct of the war and to the destructive plans of the Nazis the more difficult it became to circumvent the demands made by the State. This applies in particular to the former Degussa which had a monopoly in the area of refining metals."
Not only did Degussa AG collect and melt down precious metals such as the gold from the teeth* of the murdered death camps victims, but was even responsible for supplying the gas Zyklon B to murder the victims in the first place, such as in Auschwitz. Germany's Red-Green coalition government (supposedly "Social" democratic and supposedly "Progressive" Green) argues that industries hands were tied and thus should to a large extent be immune from the claims of the victims. Historians (such as Hans Mommsen) have reminded the government that ample documentation is readily available that proves that Degussa AG was, far from being forced, more than willing to participate in the lucrative business of helping organize Hitler's machinery of death. *NS-Zwangsarbeit: Degussa heißt Zyklon B und Zahngold
However, to prosecute and discriminate against former GDR citizens no stone is left unturned. Retroactive law is applied, the statute of limitations is ignored and the principles of the Unification Treaty between East and West Germany are thoroughly disregarded. All of it illegal and unconstitutional, but simply sanctioned after the fact as proper by Germany's highest court!
We will never grant absolution to (West) German judges nor to the German people who play the roll of the "good innocent Germans simply thirsting for justice" and constantly compare former East Germany with Nazi Germany, while at the same time do nothing when former Nazis are afforded generous pensions and drag their feet when compensating victims of forced labor! At the very least, the West-Germans are the very last people in the world to have the right to sit in judgement of their former East German enemies.
55,000,000 people are crying out from under their graves screaming at these Germans: NO ABSOLUTION!!!
KEINE ABSOLUTION!!! KEINE VERGEBUNG!!!
See: http://Siegerjustiz.de and http://Gauck.de
The rationale here is of course clear, either on a conscious, or more ominously on a subconscious level: mama and papa, or grandma and grandpa, couldn't have been that bad, even if they were Nazis, after all the Nazis fought the communists! Thus, attempting to justify, at least partially, the Nazi state. See: The New York Times article on Ernst Nolte recieving one of Germany's most prestigious literary prizes who has stated that: Hitler may have had "rational" reasons for attacking the "Bolshevik" Jews.
